Upcoming Trends for 2020 Weddings

Upcoming Trends for 2020 Weddings

After wrapping up an EXCITING year of 2019 weddings, you’d think we would want to kick back and relax a little bit. Instead, we’re INSTANTLY dreaming about the 2020 weddings on our schedule. We’re passionate… what can we say?!

Blush/rose, greenery, and classic white were huge in 2019 and we think that “trend” is going to continue through 2020! Those are gorgeous colors for any classic, romantic, vintage, rustic, or ANY style of wedding. The simplicity of white flowers and mixed greenery is a look that will never go out of style. However, the Pantone Color of the Year is Classic Blue (click here to see!) and we think that will be prevalent in the floral industry! Pantone describes Classic Blue as a color that instills “calm, confidence, and connection”. It’s timeless, elegant, and simple… and it will be a gorgeous addition to any wedding in 2020.

In our wedding inquiries for 2020, many brides are putting GREENERY in all caps, so we’re expecting lots of it! Haha. Lots of brides are also loving the fact that we have been incorporating locally-grown, fresh and dried product into their flowers for lots of fun texture and variety, so we’re expecting to see even more of that in 2020!

Being in the floral industry has been SO fun because brides are really choosing fun color palettes and amazing textures for their wedding flowers AND decor. It keeps us on our toes because every bride has a different vision! Instead of having 2-3 color choices in floral arrangements, many brides are opting to include MANY different colors to create a look that’s eye-catching, conversational, and memorable.

We would love to hear from you… share what trends and colors you’re hoping to see at some of our upcoming weddings in 2020!
