Written By Samantha ritchie 18 Sep 2019

Sure, your wedding day is supposed to be the BEST day of your life. But let's face it: with any big event, a little bit of stress is inevitable. It's normal for us to put pressure on ourselves during special occasions like this. But, the more TRUST you put on your vendors, the less tress you will have. It's so important to invest in experts in their fields, so you can have more peace of mind that everything will run smoothly.

How to Have a Stress-Free Wedding
Sure, your wedding day is supposed to be the BEST day of your life. But let's face it: with any big event, a little bit of stress is inevitable. It's normal for us to put pressure on ourselves during special occasions like this. But, the more TRUST you put on your vendors, the less stress you will have. It's so important to invest in experts, so you can have more peace of mind that everything will run smoothly on your big day.
Remember, the vendors you choose do this for a living. We have a ton of experience, and we're committed to helping you have the best day ever. It may be tempting to DIY some of the items you need for your special day, but I recommend hiring vendors wherever you can afford to.
You should make a list to prioritize the things you DO NOT want to do, do not know HOW to do, do not have the resources to do, etc. Hire a vendor for those things first. I do not disagree with DIY and saving money wherever you can, but let's face it: it can absolutely add more stress to your wedding day.
It's SO important to choose the right vendors, and one of my biggest pieces of advice here is to go with your gut. If you have even the slightest bad feeling about a vendor, or you do not think they understand your vision, keep looking. I also recommend asking around! Did you love the DJ your sister used? Ask her about her experience. Talk to your recently married friends and ask about who they used for vendors, what they loved about them, and what they would maybe do differently. It's also a great idea to ask your venue! Oftentimes, they have a list of favorites that they love and recommend!
If you missed our recent blog post about making sure you work with vendors with a CONTRACT, please go check that out here. Working with someone who doesn't develop a contract for you is a huge red flag, in my professional and personal opinion. Another red flag? Flaky communication. Be patient: they're running a business and probably have a mile-long to-do list. However, if weeks go by without hearing from them, that's a red flag.
All in all, I just want to make sure you work with vendors you TRUST! When you can put your complete trust in them, you can focus on the most important thing: celebrating your love with family and friends and making it the BEST day of your life.
