5 Ways to Make Your Wedding Guests Feel Extra Special

The magic is in the details... am I right?!

If you're looking for a few ideas to make your wedding guests feel extra special, and to make your special day even more memorable, this blog post is for you!

Make your guest book interactive! There have been so many new fun and creative ideas for guests books over the years, but the thing we love about it is that they usually make people feel like they're doing something much more meaningful than just signing their name in a book that you may or may not open again. Whether you have them take a Polaroid selfie for your guest book, you have them sign their name on a framed photo, or you have them write a piece of advice and put it in a keepsake box, the point is... getting your guests involved in your wedding on a little bit of a deeper level is such a great way to make them feel special!

Rosemary at each place setting! Not only does this add some beautiful color to your table settings, but it adds the most delightful aroma to the room when your guests walk in to the reception! We did this for our wedding, and it was one of those "little things" that made all the difference in the overall experience!

Do your best to acknowledge each guest there! If you have a big wedding, this may be challenging as your entire day (especially the reception!) flies by. There are lots of ways to ensure you spend a little bit of time with each guest, even with a big guest list. A receiving line between your ceremony and reception is always a great idea. Otherwise, you could have the DJ play a song at your reception and you and your spouse basically run around to different tables as fast as you can to get a group photo with each table. There are endless ideas to help you spend a little time with each guest, but do your best to make it fit your wedding style, timeline, and preference!

Party favors as your guests leave for the night! While we love the idea of adding a party favor to each guest's table setting or doing the champagne toast as a "favor", we think it's so fun to give your guests a party favor as they leave for the night! It can serve as a token for the special night you just celebrated together, and there are so may creative ways to tie it into the theme of your wedding.

Give them a ride back to their hotel! This is especially appreciated after your guests have had a few cocktails and puts them at ease. Who knows? Maybe it will turn into a fun after party that allows them to continue their fun for the rest of the night!

There you have it! We hope you enjoyed these simple ideas to make your wedding guests feel extra special. Be sure to check out our other blog posts with helpful wedding planning tips while you're here!
