2021 Year in Review

2021 Year in Review

Whew, what a year it has been! For many of us, the past 2 years have brought unforeseen hardships, changed plans, and not knowing exactly what our future holds. However, I’m proud to say that 2021 was one of the best, despite its major challenges. Let’s reflect on some of the best moments from 2021!

  • Jeremy and I got married! In case you missed it, check out our blog post dedicated to the flowers for our wedding! We have written a few blog posts about our wedding to give you all the details on our decor, planning, lessons learned, and more… but a HUGE takeaway from this experience is how much of an eye opener it was to be on the other side of the wedding planning. Now that I’ve experienced being a bride myself (during a pandemic, nonetheless!), it has really helped me to figure out how to better serve my clients.
  • Another highlight of the year was our Fall Open House and Holiday Open House! We really went all out this year since we couldn't do much last year. Our outdoor displays were such a hit and everyone loved the addition of coffee in the shop. We had such a great turnout for both events and I'm excited to continue to build on that. 2021 set the bar high, that’s for sure!
  • Our Wreath Workshops were also a hit! Who doesn’t love the smell of fresh pine in their home? It’s such a fun activity to do with family or friends to get in the Christmas spirit. Unfortunately, many of you that wanted to attend missed out this year and we’re so sorry for that! We will absolutely bring them back next year and we will do our best to get the word out way ahead of time. The BEST way to be notified when the Wreath Workshops will be live is to join our email newsletter! Head to our homepage and scroll to the bottom to sign up for our newsletter.

All in all, 2021 challenged us in ways I never would’ve imagined. We did two years worth of weddings in one year, which taught us what we are capable of as a business. We truly could not have gotten through this year without the massive support of our family, friends, and local community. You not only recommend us to brides who are looking for a florist, but you show up for our events, spread the love on our social media pages, and think of us when it comes to flowers and unique gift items. We appreciate you so much and can’t wait to continue to serve you in 2022!
